RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR HOMES
Installing solar panels could be one of the best investments you will ever make to improve the value of your home or business while helping the environment by substantially reducing your carbon footprint.
Feed-in Tariffs (FITs) became available in Great Britain on 1st April 2010. Under this scheme energy suppliers have to make regular payments to individuals, organisations and businesses who generate their own electricity from renewable or low carbon sources such as solar electricity panels (PV) or wind turbines.
The scheme guarantees a minimum payment for all electricity generated by the system, as well as a separate payment for the electricity exported to grid. These payments are in addition to the bill savings made by using the electricity generated on-site.
Once you have a microgeneration technology installed you should experience a monthly reduction in your electricity bill and then receive an income from your Feed-in tariff provider.
SOLAR PV
Our specialist teams have installed hundreds of solar systems since 2011 when we gained our MCS accreditation. Solar PV seemed like a natural progression for us as Electrical Contractors and has proven to be an area of great interest and development both domestically and commercially.
Systems can still be supplied and installed as basic PV systems from as little as £2500 (ex VAT) (1KW system) however with the provision of new technology solar can now be combined with batteries that store the electricity for later use from as little as £4750 (Ex VAT) (1KW system).
"We have nothing but praise for this Company who were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. The installation was completed professionally and efficiently from the first telephone contact through to the help given completing the necessary forms at the end which was much appreciated. A first rate service throughout."
Catherine Waby, Shotley Bridge
BATTERY STORAGE FOR SOLAR PV
If you already have solar PV, adding batteries to your system will maximise your savings from as little as £2500 (+ VAT) (1KW system).
A range of batteries are now available that work in line with Solar PV allowing you to store any excess electricity generated by your system for your own use at any time of the day. The additional benefit of this is further savings on your electricity bill – while still receiving your normal FIT income for generation and export why not save on purchasing those additional units needed from your electricity supplier by storing them when they are available - for later use.
PROUD INSTALLERS
We have worked hard to become approved installers for SolaX and are able to supply and install a range of battery types and sizes of Growatt manufacture.
Batteries of differing types and sizes are suitable for positioning in various places in your home and we are here waiting to assist you with any queries you may have.
SOLAR AEROVOLTAIC
Did you know that its now possible to install solar 'aerovoltaic' systems – These use specialised panels to harness the heat produced by the PV panels and duct it back into your home to compliment your existing heating system.
